Plant produces heavy yields of cowpeas even under very hot amd very dry conditions. The pods are Reddish-green and the peas are red. The plant produces 10" long pods that have 18 peas. A Southern favorite. A heirloom variety from North Carolina dating back to the 1850's. Plant Height: 6 ft long vines.
