This 8-port thistle tube feeder is a great addition to any dwelling in need of a few feathered guests. Distance from port to perch is ornithologically correct for birds finches. The powder coated finish won't chip or fade. The tops and bases are die-cast zinc for long life. The hanger loop is made of stainless steel wire to last a lifetime. Squirrels can't chew the Snug fitting sliding cap which is easy for you to lift but hard for the squirrels. The die-cast zinc top assembly is easily removed for cleaning. The seed baffle keeps seed within reach of hungry finches while the armor bands protect the tube from squirrels. The base is threaded to enable attachment of an A-6T or OMT seed tray to catch seed and provide extra room for birds. Storage tube is made of UV stabilized polycarbonate so it won't yellow with age. The feeding port openings are designed to dispense seeds economically to conserve. Aluminum perches can't be chewed by squirrels but don't hurt birds' feet.
